07May2016~ Lou, did you know you were my homeboy? Yup, you were born in Paterson New Jersey, and I was born in Paterson. Just, wish I could have met you. But, if I had, I would have been only 6 years old. I was born in 1953, you passed on to greater comedy into God's Kingdom, in 1959. Our great loss, mine especially..but Heaven's greater gain. I bet you and Bud are still doing "Who's On First" for God and all, and got them all rolling on the floor. Ya know, my favorite routine, was, The Susquehanna Hat Company. (For those reading this, you can see that one and many others on, of course, YouTube). Lou, my other favorite: the famous "I don't like mustard" skit, commonly known as just the Mustard Skit. Favorite movies, "Hold That Ghost" and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein".~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Lou in probably a Paterson street, carrying a tall box of about 10 straw hats, and asking where Floogle or was it Bagel Street. Asks lady. Her response, hysterical screams, and: "Bagel Street?!?!, ahhhhh, my husband was killed on Bagel Street! ...Is that a Susquehanna Hat, Ahhhhhhh, my husband was killed on Bagel Street wearing a Susquehanna Hat...And now he's dead, he's dead..." lady goes off screaming, hysterical, crying. And Lou says,"Lady, he ain't dead...he's hiden'!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Lou, and Bud, you guys made my life survivable. My mother was an alcoholic and a prescription drug addict, and abusive verbally, physically. If it hadn't been for you guys, I don't know?...suicide?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Lou and Bud, you guys are Loved and Missed and Remembered, especially by me. May you guys Rest in Peace and Happiness and Joy and Love, with GOD and all your family and friends... and fans up ther who are fortunate enough to be around geniuses like "youse guyz". ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Respectfully and Appreciatively, Your number one fan, and fellow Jerseyite, Bob "Cookie" VanDuren.
