In December, 1893 Johann Heinrich and Rosalia along with their 5 bachelor sons, both daughters and their families immigrated to the Pheasant Forks district of the North West Territories. Johann Heinrich and their eldest son Johann obtained homesteads on adjoining quarter sections of land 2 miles south of what would become the town of Lemberg Saskatchewan.
