James Richard was the son of Andrew Jackson and Rose Louise WHITE Newton. He married Mary Royal of Senatobia, Tate County, Ms. James was a big football star in high school and college. When he was in high school I was in Jr. high. If he'd stop and talk to me I felt so proud because the other girls were envious. James was high school coach for some years before becoming principal of Lambert , Mississippi school. He was there twelve years. He finally decided to go into the insurance business and was there until his death. James was a handsome and sweet man and I was proud he was my first cousin.
