Mrs. Frankie Mae Campbell, 74, of Winona, died of cancer April 20, 2001 at her residence in Winona. She was a homemaker and a retired employee of J. A. Olson Co. and McGregor Manufacturing.

She was a member of D.A.V. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and North Winona Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett and a sister, Bobbie Ware.

Funeral services were held April 22 at Oliver Chapel in Winona. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery in Winona with Rev. Rick Burton officiating, Rev. Gerald Welch assisting.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husband, Ned Campbell of Winona; two daughters, Mary Lee Browning of Winona, Shirley Jean Parson of Winona; four sisters, Elizabeth Vanstory of Memphis, Tenn., Ruby McCammon of Pleasant Hill. Louise Sullivan of Tullahoma, Tenn., Shirley Thompson of Winona; four brothers, Morris Bennett of Winona, Howard Bennett of Winona, James Bennett of Water Valley, Jimmy Bennett of Collierville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Richard Browning of Lithia Springs, Ga., Tracey Browning of Winona, Jennifer Parson of Winona; one great-granddaughter, Ashley Brooke Browning of Lithia Springs, Ga.

Pallbearers were Danny Campbell, Leslie Vanstory, Eddie Vanstory, Ricky Thompson, Frankie Bennett, and Richie Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers were Earl Griffin, John Kerr, Carlton Parsons, James Kirk, and Ned Blaylock.
