Mrs. Maybell Mullen Adair died February 16 at the Tyler Holmes Hospital. She was 79 years old. A native of Montgomery County, she was the wife of Norman I Adair of Meridian.
Services were held for Mrs. Adair at the New Hope Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 18. Officiating were Revs. Robert Ellis and Leslie Nabors. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are: a brother, Arthur Mullen, Duck Hill; three sisters, Mrs. W. A. Meeks, Sloder; and Misses Hattie Mullen and Claudie Mullen, of Yazoo City.
Pallbearers were J. C. Meeks, Tom Meeks, Buddy Meeks, Charles Sleigh, James Sleigh, and Fred Sleigh.
