Frances was the daughter of Thomas Harrison McDaniel and Josephine Rebecca (Smith) "Merritt" McDaniel.

Frances married James Albert Anderson on August 15, 1895 in Bellevue, Clay County, Texas. They had six children.

1--Lillian Estelle [1896-1961]
2--Earl Franklin [1898-1931]
3--Cenia Alzeria [1899-1983]
4--Annie "Anna" Geneva [1902-1991]
5--Johnnie Albert [1907-1982]
6--Ralph Verle [1912-1973]

Frances was a member of the Church of Christ for over 65 years.

OBITUARY:

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Christ, 18th and Josephine, for Mrs. Frances Anderson, beloved 90 year old Frederick resident.
Wayne Zuck, minister of the Frederick church and Walter Bryan of Clinton officiated at the services and interment was in the Frederick Memorial cemetery under direction of Dalton-McClellan Funeral Home.
Frances Canellia (Kernelia) McDaniel was a native of Robertson County, Texas. She was married to James A. Anderson August 15, 1895. She had been a member of the Church of Christ for over 50 years and had taught Sunday School for many years. (This should have read 75 years)
She and her husband moved to Frederick in 1901 from Hobart and settled on a farm 81/2 miles southwest of Frederick. Her husband preceded her in death in 1932.
Mrs Anderson was loved and honored by her many friends.
Survivors include: Sons, John A. of Frederick and Ralph V. of Bakersfield, California: daughters, Mrs. Cenia Wallace, Vinita; Mrs. Fred Stravlo, Oklahoma City; one sister, Mrs. Dollie Garcia, Los Angeles, California; 7 grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. (This should have been 18 great great grandchildren---Sandra) One daughter, Mrs. Lillian Bryan and one son, Earl preceded her in death.

Frances was my grandmother.
