Karl Gustav "Gus" Benad, born in Weissenburg, Saxony, Germany, Immigrated to the USA, 25 March 1884, on the SS Neckar with his wife, Henrietta Bachmann, and two daughters - Magdalena "Freida" and Lena Anna Benad.

They had 8 children born in TX: Anna Henrietta "Annie", Fritz Karl "Charlie", August "Fritz", Ernest "Hans", Karl Gustav Jr, Johanna Maria "Mary", Walter and Alice Benad.

It was originally believed that Gus' name was Gustav D Benad Sr, until today (01/27/2019) when I found the marriage record of Gus and Henrietta. They married in Dresden, Deutschland (Germany), 14 Feb 1881. Verified with the record including their dates of birth.
