Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church with the Rev. Sotero Sena officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens by Muffley Funeral Home.
Mr. Griego was born June 25, 1981, to Jeronimo Thomas and Judy K. Montoya Griego in Clovis. On June 22, 2002, he married Monica Montano in Clovis.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Alexandria Griego of Clovis; his parents of Clovis; two brothers, Matthew Griego of Albuquerque and Geronimo Griego of Rio Rancho; and his grandparents, Philimon and Casamira Montoya of Clovis.

Ben was a Sgt in the New Mexico National Guard and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the American Legion. He loved to Hunt, fish, and play cards. Ben was a beloved husband, daddy, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. The light that shines from his soul will be truly missed and remembered.
Ben is survived by his wife; a daughter, his parents, two brothers, Matthew and Geronimo and his grandparents. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pedro and Josefita Griego. Pallbearers were Bravo Company: NCOIC SFC Kyle Trout, Spc Joseph Gallegos, Sgt Matias Aragon, Sgt Cesar Ceja, Sgt Matthew Concha, Sgt, Robert Encino, Sgt Hector Molina, Sgt Fernando Torres, Spc Leonardo Anchondo, Sgt Alan English, Sgt Gilbert Lopez, and Sgt. Steven Wilkinson. He died at White Sands Missile Range at age 26.
