Born in Clinton county, he had spent all his life in this county. He was a retired farmer and a Spanish-American war veteran.
Surviving are two brothers, Karl of Richmond and Ross of Frankfort; a half sister, Mrs. June Goff of Medaryville, a half brother, Frank Palmer of Toledo, O.; and a stepbrother, Fred Palmer of Frankfort."
