(Age 71) A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away August 15, 2005 in Spokane, Washington. Her home was Reardan, WA. Naomi is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bob Benner of Reardan, WA; a son, Bill Hieb and Sherry of Spokane, WA; a daughter, Christine White and Ed of Redding, CA; two step daughters, Christina Everett and Larry of Snoqualmie Pass, WA and Karen Khadviv and Siroos of Lynnwood, WA; two grandchildren, Jayne Hanon of Spokane, WA and Adam Hieb of Alhambra, CA; four step grandchildren, Laura and Kristen Everett and Rachel and Will Khadviv; two sisters, Glenda Eastman and Gloria Palomino, both of Reardan, WA and numerous nieces and nephews including Chuck Eastman, Kathy Eastman, Jay Palomino, Bobby Palomino, Ronny Palomino and Sherida Humbyrd. Naomi worked for several years for the Bon-Macy Department Store in the Spokane Valley Mall. She attended the Reardan United Methodist Church. Graveside Inurnment Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Reardan Cemetery, Reardan, WA. Pastors Phil Falk and Happy Watkins will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Reardan United Methodist Church. Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, WA is in charge of arrangements. Naomi was a faithful servant who loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She will be in our hearts forever. [Spokesman Review; August 18, 2005]
