Interment was made in the Lakeside Cemetery. The Lake Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Ted Rzepecki, Harold Thieme, Gordon Dahlie, Arleigh Von Seggern, Art Marcott, and E.J. Schroeder.
Mrs. Hill passed away at the Park Falls Memorial Hospital at 1:45 p.m. Friday, March 1, following an extended illness.
She was born in North Manchester, Indian, May 30, 1881. She was united in marriage to Sanford Hill in Wabash, Indiana, July 3, 1987. The couple moved to Phillips in 1899. For several years they operated a resort know as Hill's Resort, west of the city. Her husband preceeded her in death in 1959. Also preceding her in death were two sons, Claude and William. She was a memeber of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Methodist Church.

Eight daughters, Mrs. Edward (Esther) Hatten, Mrs. Henry (Clystia) LaRose of Palmer, Alaska; Mrs. Elmer (Delia) Birdeau, Fairfeild, Montana; Mrs. Peter (Marie) Penneau, Milwaukee, Mrs. Albert (Leona) Palmer and Mrs. Aubrey (Elaine) Dunn, Phillips, and Mrs. Charles (Eureka) Langner, Fifield;
Five sons, Lawrence, Los Angeles, Califonia; Ase, Cudahy, Elwin, St Francis; Gibert, Waukesha; and Charles, Green Bay.
85 grandchildren; 152 great grandchildren and 22 great, great grandchildren. Their 100th grandchild was born Feb 1953.
