Mrs. Johnson was retired from Sears in their Service Department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Thomas; and one son, Ronney D. Thomas.
She was survived by three children, Jerry W. Thomas and wife Sharron of Monroe, Harriette Hall and husband Fred of Omaha, NE, and Janis Dupuy and husband Steve of West Monroe; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
