Son of Micajah Bennett and Margret (McColister) Bennett.
Married Sarah J. Guill Jan 30, 1850.
Married Mrs. Winnie Roach (Winifred Ann Barton) Oct 30, 1877.
Married Sarah Jane Duff Bradshaw Jan 15, 1880.

NOTE: Frank was named for the first Bishop of the Methodist church in this country in the 1700's (Francis Asbury), and the Garrett was the southern bishop at the time of Frank's birth.

AN OLD CITIZEN GOES TO HIS REWARD

F.A.G. Bennett was born May 23, 1827 and died at his home on Gunner's Valley Feb. 12, 1911, at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 19 days. Funeral services ere conducted by Rev. O.N. Barnett at the Bennett Chapel in the presence of a large congregation of sympathizing neighbors and friends. The interment took place in the cemetery near the chapel.

Uncle Frank Bennett, as he was familiarly called by all who knew him was married to Miss Sarah Guill in 1850. To this union was born 10 children. His wife died in 1876 and afterwards, on Jan. 15, 1880, he married Miss Sarah Jane Bradshaw and to this union one child was born.

He moved to Howell County in 1884 and made a farm where he resided until death. He was converted when a boy and joined the Methodist church, of which he was a faithful member. He was a good citizen, a kind neighbor an affectionate father and a devoted husband. He was a good faithful church worker and lived a model christian life. The deceased is survived by his aged wife and 8 children. They are; Mrs. L.N. Morgan, Mrs. C.E. Carter, W.J. Bennett and Mrs. M.F. Hopkins of Graves County, Tenn; A.D. Bennett, C.A. Bennett and M.J.
