Frances Abernathy, 95, of Harrison, Ohio, died Sunday at Three Rivers Healthcare Center, Cincinnati.
She was a retired teacher with the Williamstown and Grant County boards of education, and a member of Williamstown Christian Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher.
She was a member of Williamstown Homemakers, Williamstown Order of the Eastern Star No. 301, Grant County and Kentucky retired teachers associations, the Grant County Historical Society and Grant County Woman's Club. Her husband, Robert Abernathy, died in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Starr Goodman of Harrison, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Williamstown Mausoleum.
Memorials are suggested to Williamstown Christian Church, 318 N. Main St., Williamstown, Ky. 41097.
