Ralph was born and raised in the Novelty, Missouri,in the Locust Hill area. He lived 59 years and 16 days. He was one of ten children born to William Richard and Eva Mae Browning Perry. He won the Golden Gloves award in prizefighting as a young man. He served in WWII and loved his country. In later years, he was a Veterans Service Officer. He was very patriotic and loved God and his family. He participated every year at Memorial Day services and visited the cemeteries caring for the graves of his family members and placing flowers on their graves. He was very musical and played guitar and other musical instruments very well even though he had no musical training. He died from cancer. He was a fantastic Dad. He was, and always will be, his daughter's hero.
