Alston was my husbands' uncle. He was a painter all his life. He was well known around Lyons, and never had to go looking for work, he stayed busy. His daughter Cynthia is now in charge of his business. He had a great sense of humor, and loved his family. He is missed by many. Alston was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
