On August 8, 1933, she was united in marriage to Elmer Drahn at Galena, IL. To this union five children were born. They started farming south of Postville and moved to the Drahn home farm near Farmersburg in March, 1938. In February, 1953, they moved to their home in Farmersburg. Elmer and June had the privilege to celebrate their Golden Anniversary on August 8, 1983. They lived in Farmersburg until Elmer's death February 6, 1986. June continued to live in Farmersburg until September, 1996, when she moved to an apartment in Monona. She lived in Monona until failing health caused her to move to the Great River Care Center at McGregor in October, 2004. On December 26, 2006, June fell and broke both hips and was taken to Gunderson Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, WI, where she passed away December 31, 2006.
Survivors include one son, Roger (Virginia) Drahn, Monona; two daughters, Bonnie (Dale) Henning, McGregor and Carole (Louis) Holly, Monticello; five grandchildren, Kevin & Kent Henning, Dennis Drahn, Jeff Holly and Christi Gesie; great grandchildren, Travis and Justin Henning, Milisa Andrews, Jessie (Jeremy) Nagle, Cory, Chandler, Casey and Chelsie Drahn, Jessie and Nikki Gesie and ten great-great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two infant sons; a grandson, Rick Drahn and her brother, Lowell Fox
