ALBANY — Frances Owens Brock, 78, of Albany, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Palmyra Nursing Home.
Her funeral service will be FRIDAY 2 PM at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Hanna will officiate.
A native of Colquitt, GA, she had lived in Albany most of her life. Mrs. Brock was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church, the Eastern Star, and the grandmothers club. She was employed as a nurse. Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her husband Eulie F. Brock, Sr.
Survivors include 2 sons: Eulie F. (Brockey) Brock, Jr. and his wife, Debra of Cordele, GA, Brent D. Brock and his wife, Missie of Murfreesboro, TN; 3 grandsons: Brandon Brock, Brent Brock, Brockey Brock; a brother: David Jordan of Cairo; 2 sisters: Kathryn Thomaston of Ozark, AL, Dorothy Godwin of Pavo.
The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern on Thursday from 6-7:30 PM.
