Marian Bedinger, the daughter of John and Evangeline (Jones) Ericksen, was born in Hampton, Nebraska on April 5, 1934 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on September 25, 2006, at the age of 72.

She grew up in Hampton and graduated from Hampton High School. Marian completed her nursing education in Lincoln in October of 1955. Marian was a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth's in Lincoln, before moving back to Hampton and worked at the hospital in Grand Island for a short time.

Marian was united in marriage to William Bedinger on May 27, 1956 at Hampton. While raising their three daughters, Marian worked at the Aurora Medical Clinic for 33 years. Marian and Bill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 27, 2006.

Marian was a member of the Hampton United Lutheran Church, the Women's Group and participated in the Bible Study program.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Fred Bedinger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, William Bedinger of Hampton; three daughters, Debra Gans of Lincoln, Diane (Dennis) Farver of Newton, Iowa and Janet (Keaton) Beaumont of Woodbridge, Virginia; seven grandchildren and three great-grandsons. She is also survived by her brother, Duane (Marjorie) Ericksen of Hampton; two sisters, Nell Ericksen of Hampton and Dorothy (Mario) Vergas of Scottsdale, Arizona and mother-in-law, Lola Bedinger of Hampton.
