Mac was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on March 30, 1929, to Kathryn and Wentworth MacDonald. She lived in St. Paul until college. She met Eugene "Trip" Trepanier and six months later they married on August 13, 1949. They lived in Minot, North Dakota, untill 1965 when they moved their family to Washington State. Mac retired from DSHS in Olympia, Washington. She loved playing and teaching bridge. She enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Jamaica, and a Caribbean cruise. Reading, solving crossword puzzles, and playing hand-held games were passions of Mac. MaryRose also loved watching the Mariners and televised tennis.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Trip; her parents; her stepmother, Rose; and an infant son, Paul.
She leaves behind special lifelong friend of 57 years, Pete Pouliott; 14 children, Frankie, Esther (Willy) Larson, Ted (Ruby), Tim (Linda), Kay, Mary (Mark) Albertine, Tom (Diane), Joe (Linda), Jeanne, Liz, Thad (Debbie), John, Philip (Becky), and Sue; and sister, Joanie. MaryRose also leaves many wonderful, loving grandchildren, David (Deb), Steven, Jacob (Cherilyn), James (Jodee), Scott, Naomi, Kira, Jessica, Katie, Ron (Debby), Scott, Timothy, Nick, Talitha, Preston, Paul, Annalise, Claire, Emily, Max, Christopher, Tessa, Christy Rose (Jon), Kimberly, Stephanie, Christina Rose, Julianna, Thaddeus Jr, Corey, Kyle, Kevin, Patrick, Ryan, Sean, Holli, Josh, and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Anna, Zach, Kyley, Carson, Kasey Lynn, Brendan, Hannah, Kaelah, McKenna, and two in the oven.
MaryRose loved her family, friends, and co-workers. She, herself, was loved and respected by all who knew her in her lifetime. Mac always had time for each and every person.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4504 S. Broadway, Everett, followed by a graveside service at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Flynn Cancer Center in Everett.
