Arlene died Tuesday, 18 November 2003, as a result of health problems associated with terminal metastatic breast cancer. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2002 and fought a hard, long battle with the disease prior to her death. At her request, she was cremated on 20 November 2003 (No burial). She will be remembered in our hearts and minds forever.
Arlene was the daughter of Lester Owen and Faun Robey Sorenson and was born in Provo, Utah. She leaves behind her husband, Ronald Berg, four children, Joseph Garza, Laurie Garza, Michelle Garza, and Kathy Garza and eleven grandchildren; sister, Sue; brother, Mike; and a twin sister, Darlene.
