Evelyn Esther Allers, 60, of Jackson died July 23, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born Feb. 16, 1946, in New Wells, daughter of Fred and Edna Fiedler Wachter. She and August H. Allers were married Nov. 29, 1969, in Shawneetown.
Mrs. Allers was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Edgar Wachter of McClure, IL; and a sister, Eileen Miller of Jackson, MO.
The funeral will be Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
