Author. He was born in Reus, Tarragona, Catalunya, Spain. He moved with his parents to France, during Spanish Civil War. In 1941, they returned, but his economic situation and the politic persecution of Franco's dictatorship make that his father commited suicide. Then, he began to work as translator and critic in several magazines. In late 1950s, he began his career as poet. He knew Jaime Giel de Biedma and Carles Riba, and was included in literary Escuela de Barcelona. He become one of the most important writers in catalan language. He is remembered for his books "In Memoriam," "De Nuces Pueris," "Menja't una Cama," "Les Dones i els Dies" and "Teoria dels Cossos." Sadly, as his father, he commited suicide in his home in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain.
