Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Ziehmer of First Christian Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mrs. Briscoe was born June 24, 1914, in Tulia to Mr. and Mrs. V.C. Hagood. She graduated from Tulia High School in 1930. Mrs. Briscoe moved to Amarillo and went to work for Pioneer Natural Gas in 1933. She married Jerry Briscoe on Dec. 14, 1948. She left the gas company in 1958 when Jerry was transferred to Mobile, Ala. They later lived in Houston and Dallas before moving back to Amarillo in 1995 to be closer to family. Mrs. Briscoe was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Briscoe; a son, Virgil Speer of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
