Thomas Hall was my paternal great-grandfather. Son of Robert Hall & Sarah. Husband of Caroline Sparks and Mary Sponeyboyen. Father of 9. He was born in Staffordshire, England. He married Caroline Sparks in St. Mark's Church in Tipton, Stafforshire, England on Christmas Day in 1868. He immigrated to the US around 1888. He was a coal miner like his father, and a few of his sons, and probably came to the US looking for the next mine. He found it in Houtzdale, PA and then in South Fork, PA. After becoming a widower in 1908, he married Mary Sponeyboyen in 1910. When he died in 1920, he was buried with his first wife, Caroline, my great-grandmother I don't know what happened to Mary.
