Dorothy Louise (Smith) Royer passed away peacefully April 11,2014 in a local nursing home.
Louise was born in Terral OK. June 20, 1926, the ninth child of John W and Eva (Browning) Smith.
She married Claude William Royer December 31, 1949 in Jacksboro, Jack County, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Her husband, her siblings, and three sons, Tommy Joe Stewart, Tony Gene Stewart, and Cecil William Royer.
She is survived by Her Daughters: Mary Sue (Stewart) and husband Archie Lard of Logan NM. and Shirley Edwards of Mineral Wells, TX. Sons: Charles Royer of Jacksboro TX, Earl Royer and wife Nancy of Gordon, TX, and Doug Royer and wife May of Mineral Wells, TX. Sixteen grand children, numerous great grand children, nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be Monday, Apr. 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Authon Cemetery.
Pall Bearers are: D J Royer, Kenneth Royer, William Edwards, Sam Taylor, Walter Royer, Spencer Motley, and Tyler Alston.
