A lifelong resident of Crete, passed away December 17th in Monticello, IN. She was the beloved wife of the late M. Woodman Tufts (1988). Loving mother of the late Bryan, Donald (Glinda), Arthur (Denise "Tweedy") Tufts, and Barbara (John) Conley. Cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tufts was a music teacher at Crete Elementary School for 27 years where she brought music to the lives of thousands of children through her teaching. She also was a charter member of Crete United Methodist Church.
