A Gathering of Friends for Gordon Luther Kearsey of Clarkridge, Arkansas, will be Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Gordon passed away March 28, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 63. He was born April 3, 1950, in San Diego, California, the son of Lt. Comander Gordon and Cecelia Adams Kearsey. He married Patrice Senesac on February 23, 1985, at Carmel, California and was a retired U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star in Vietnam. Gordon lived in Clarkridge since 1987, moving from Fort Ord, California. He enjoyed his dogs and cats, collecting firearms, nature and being outdoors. He loved to learn about the Civil War.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Patrice Kearsey of Clarkridge, AR; son, Michael Kearsey of Conway, AR; three siblings, Grady (Lynn) Kearsey of Jacksonville, FL; Marilyn (Stewart) Gammie of Jacksonville, FL and John Kearsey of Hawthorn, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
