Alvin Kelly, about 52, Lennox hotel, died last night at Good Samaritan hospital after being received there yesterday with a fractured skull. Kelly, janitor of the hotel, Southwest Third avenue and Madison street, at present closed, was found at the foot of the basement steps. Detectives investigated yesterday, but were unable to interrogate Kelly because of his condition. The man's keys, hat and clock were found at the foot of the stairway, and a small amount of money was in his pocket.
