She was born June 3, 1932 in Paris to Robert Alvis and Ollie Burks.
Virginia is survived by her son, Gary Adams of Greenville; daughters, Thresea Wright of Greenville, Vickie Martin and husband Billy of Austin; brothers, Joe Bob Burks, D.R. Burks of Paris; grandchildren, Cody Swanson and wife Jennifer, Hayden Adams, Landry Adams, Kathleen Johnston, Kari Martin; great grandchild, Eli and Luke Johnston and soon to be great grandchild, Cade Truett Swanson.
Graveside service will be Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Union Grove Cemetery in Paris.
