Mr. Bowlsby ws the carpenter and stone mason who laid the corner stones of the "Central Building" (later called Robinson Hall) at Albion College, and the Methodist Church on E. Erie St. Mr. Bowlsby was the carpenter who took over building the Central Building after Noah Gregory resigned from the project, and subsequently discovered that Mr. Gregory was right concerning the use of added trusses on that project.
