Ollie Anne Gage Wednesday, September 16, 1998
Longtime area resident Ollie Anne Gage died Monday in Tecumseh at the age of 98.
She was born March 9, 1900, in Cookeville, Tenn., the daughter of Lloyd Jefferson and Chrissie Lou (Robinson) Henry. The family moved to the Trousdale area where she was reared. She attended school at Greenhead in south Pottawatomie County and also had lived in WANETTE.
She married Edward Gage on Feb. 17, 1921, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966; her parents; a daughter, Lila Anderson; a son, Floyd Gage, four brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Millie and Hilmar Williams, Tecumseh; Mary and Derryl Graves, Elmore City; sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd and Alice Gage, Canute; Calvin and Martha Gage, Okmulgee; Claude and Sharon Gage, Wichita, Kan.; Walter and Cindy Gage, Norman, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at WANETTE Cemetery with the Rev. Archie Bellar officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
