Mrs Elizabeth Benner, wife of Chris Benner, of Earl Park, died at 12:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon at St Elizabeth hospital. Death was caused by a complication of diseases’ and she had been ill for many months. Mrs Benner was born in Tippecanoe county 55 years ago and was the daughter of Owen and Margaret McCormick. She was educated in the schools of Perry township. Her marriage to Mr Benner took place several years ago. Mrs Benner was a devout member of the Catholic church at Earl park, and was a highly esteemed woman. She was devoted to her home and family and was honor ed and respected by all who knew her. She was the mother of thirteen children, twelve of whom with the husband survive. They are Mrs Margaret Besoe, of Minnesota; Mrs Pauline Kline, Edward, John, Frank, Walter, Carl, Paul, Emma, Marie, Agnes and Agatha Benner, all of Earl park. One child died in infancy. The following brothers also survive. Thomas McCormick of flora, and John and William McCormick of this city. Funeral services will be conducted from the Catholic church at Earl Park, at 9:30 o’clock Tuesday morning. Interment in the Dehner Cemetery.
