She was a graduate of Rushville High School.
Eva married Harold Adams on May 20, 1933 in Rushville and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1993.
She was a production worker for Green Giant for 11 years before retiring. She enjoyed bowling, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She had traveled to Scotland and England. According to her family she was the greatest and toughest woman who ever lived. She started babysitting at the age of 70. She cared for others before herself and loved people.
Surviving are her children, Barbara Staker (husband, Gerald) of Shelbyville, IN, Bill Adams of Lafayette, Joan Blessing (husband, Larry) of West Lafayette, Tom Adams (wife, Donna) of Oxford, IN, Jerry Adams (wife, Jennifer) of Thorntown, IN, and Mark Adams (wife, Sandi) of Indianapolis; three sisters, Clara Mae Lenox (husband, John) of Arlington, IN, Mary E. Griffin (husband, Howard) of Rushville, IN, and Judith "Judy" Gahimer (husband, Larry) of Arlington, IN.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, two brothers and two great-grandchildren.
