Robert married Margaret Williams Chancellor on Nov. 4,1852 at Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas. They are on the 1860 Census, Pontoctoc County, Mississippi. Robert was in the Civil War and took the Amesty Oath on Aug. 5, 1865 at Pontotoc County and died a few weeks later. Margaret never married again and is listed as a widow in the 1908 and 1910 Pine Bluff City Directory. On the 1900 Census, it says Margaret gave birth to six children and only two were living. She died on Nov. 4, 1925 at Jefferson County, Arkansas.
