OBITUARY-
Goldeane Evelyn Bliese, 91, of Stewartville, died Monday, March 24, 2003, of natural causes at Stewartville Care Center.

She was born April 28, 1911, in Munich, N.D. She moved with her family to Austin, where she attended school and worked at Hormel Foods for a short time.
On Dec. 24, 1931, she married Raymond Bliese in Austin. They lived in Austin where Mrs. Bliese was a homemaker. Raymond died in 1969. Goldeane moved to Stewartville in 1976, and to the Stewartville Care Center in 1996.
She was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stewartville and was active in its ladies aid, quilting group and Bible classes.

Survivors include son, Clayton (Linda) Bliese, Faribault; four granddaughters; one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003, at the funeral home and Friday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Stewartville with the Rev. Lyle Fritsch officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
Funeral Home: Griffin-Gray Funeral Home, Stewartville.
