Bernarda was born on August 20, 1926 in Rockdale she was the daughter of Lorenzo and Petra (Lineres) Mireles. She was a house keeper and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rockdale.
She passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the Manor Oaks nursing home in Rockdale reaching the age of 87.
Bernarda is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo Mireles (7-14-1957), Petra Mireles (12-9-1987); Sisters, Juaquina Zapata (6-23-1992), Epifania Mireles (4-19-1997) and a half sister, Geromia Garcia (6-3-1986) She is survived by her brother, Dario Mireles of Fairfield, Sisters, Frances Mireles of Rockdale and Johnnie Barr of Rockdale. Also a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held at the St Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron with Father Ramon D. Frayna officiating, and burial will follow in the St. Josephs Cemetery in Rockdale. Visitation with a Rosary at the funeral home.
Pallbearers; Frank Diaz, Jr., Arturo Zapata, J.W. Smith, Bryan Mireles, Coltan Mirelez and Joey Montelongo.
