James E. Peck Sr., 73 SEPT. 17, 1931-OCT. 22, 2004 James Eugene "Peck" Peck Sr., 73, of 1016 Westport Drive in Hagerstown, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Washington County Hospital. Born Sept. 17, 1931, in Mercersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Roy Earl and Mary Gerhold Peck. He retired from Charlton Brothers. He served in the U.S. Air Force He was a member of Teamsters Local 992. He is survived by his wife, Judith Vinson Peck; one daughter, Kimberly Stotelmyer of Hagerstown; three sons, James E. Peck Jr. of California, Darren E. Peck of Sharpsburg, and Mike Peck of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Coldsmith, and two brothers, Robert Wagner and Nevin Mills. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Chaplain Kitty Lippy will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
