FUNERAL IS HELD
MONTICELLO, Ind. Dec. 26.
Funeral services were held this
afternoon for Mrs. Eleanor Burkett
of Burnettsville, who died Wednesday
afternoon after an extended illness.
Services were held at the
Burnettsville Baptist church, the
Rev Mr. Chastain officiating.
Burial was in the Davis cemetery.
The deceased was 71 years old and
was the widow of Rufus Burkett,
whose death occurred last June.
Surviving are the following children:
Mrs. Fred Martin of Burnettsville,
Fred, Harry and Josephine
living at home; two sisters,
Mrs. George Dempsey of Royal
Centre and Mrs. W. E. Nethercutt
of Burnettsville and one
brother, George Cotner, of Lake
Cicott.
