George Alfred Coomer was born in Kentucky Feb 28, 1846 and died at his home two miles northwest of Belmont, Ill., April 5, 1919, aged 73 years, 1 month and 7 days.

Early in his life he took up the vocation of farming and his entire life was spent at this work. He was united in marriage to Margarette Rodgers who survives him.

Mr. Coomer was an unselfish and obliging neighbor, a good husband, and a true friend of humanity. He was concerted to the Pentecostal faith in God and a better world. As a companion, neighbor, a friend he will be long remembered and often missed.

A beautiful service was conducted at the home on Sunday afternoon and the body laid to rest in the Tanquary graveyard.
