BALDOCK, Stanley Ernest "Stan" - WW 2 Veteran, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #92 Gananoque, Ontario Suddenly yet peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday, April 13, 2009, in his 89th year. Predeceased in 1997, by his loving wife of 46 years, the late Frances Josephine Donovan of Escott, Ont. Dear father of Dan (Maureen Pyman) of Portland, Oregon, Ray (Eva Illing) of Ottawa and John of Gananoque. Proud and loving grandfather of his grandsons James and Michael, Granddaughter Jordan and step-granddaughter Alexandra Illing. Predeceased by his brother George (late Betty Anderson) and survived by his dear sisters, Madge (late James Nolan), Doris (late Frazier Bell) and Lillian (late Herbert Hampton). Deeply missed by his loving and caring friend during his final years, Shirley Salter. Stan will be deeply missed by his family. A lifetime resident of Gananoque, Stan will be missed by his many friends, acquaintances and neighbours. The family will receive friends at the TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in our chapel on Thursday April 16 at 2:00 pm.
