RIGGLE, ALBERT K., 79, was called home by God Thursday, December 20, 2007. He was a retired command sergeant major in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve and a Korean War veteran. He was a retired Kentucky EMT instructor, retired as a sergeant with the Jefferson County Police Department, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police lodge #614 and was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. Survivors are his loving wife of 55 years, Helen; sons, Brig. Gen. (USAF) Albert F. (Lonna) of Alexandria, VA, Michael S. (Mattie) and Charles J. Riggle (Terri); daughter, Theresa A. Tune (Joel) of Antioch, IL; brother, Ora L. Riggle, of Brooks, KY; sister, Mildred Lasher of Pulaski, PA; and eight grandchildren. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Monday , St. Jerome Catholic Church, Fairdale, KY, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY. Visitation: 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road. Memorial gifts to: St. Jerome Building Fund, 903 Fairdale Road, Fairdale, KY 40118.
