Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Brown, widow of D. E. Brown, Nashville manufacturer for many years, who died Saturday at 3:25 p.m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. L. E. Gupton, will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. E. Hosse, 846 Fairview avenue, with requiem high mass at the Church of the Assumption at 9 a.m. Mrs. Brown spent her life in Nashville until several years after the death of Mr. Brown in 1913, when she purchased a farm in Madison and moved there with two of her sons and her daughter, Mrs. Agnes Brown. She became ill several months ago and returned to Nashville for medical treatment, remaining here with her daughter, Mrs. Gupton, until her death. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption. She is survived by four sons, Oliver, Neill, Alfred and David Brown, and three daughters, Mrs. Gupton, Mrs. Hosse and Miss Agnes Brown. Pallbearers will be A. A. Hosse, R. S. Ruemekorf, S. P. Burton, E. L. Jennings, J. D. Uhlian and H. W. Lavarans. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
