Carolyn Jane (McMillen) Anderson, 84, of Columbus, entered into rest Monday, May 13, 2013. She was born June 8, 1928 in Van Wert, OH, daughter of the late James and Mabel McMillen.

She attended Flora Stone Mather College in Cleveland where she met her husband, Clair "Andy" Anderson. She was a member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Circle and enjoyed volunteering for vacation bible school. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was the true matriarch of the family. She never missed the grandkid's events. Family vacations to Canada were made every year and she made it a point to water ski with all of the grandchildren until she turned 80. She loved flowers and was a wonderful baker. She will be remembered for her fun free-spirit, loving attitude, and passion for life.

She was also preceded in death by
her husband, Clair Leon "Andy" Anderson;
sister, Virginia Mitchell;
brother, John Paul McMillen;
her loving children, Scott (Debra Mosic) Anderson, Jeff (Kim) Anderson, Julie (Harry) Humphries and Steve (Denise) Anderson;
grandchildren, Courtney Anderson, Andrew (Sofia) Humphries, Drew Anderson, Ben Humphries, Heather Humphries, Shea (Heather) Mills and their children, Sydney and Noah, and Bryn (Philip) Pelok and their son, Cole;
her many dear friends including her CCL group and the grand-dogs, Maddie, Sir Hudson, and Bentley.

Funeral service at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High St., Worthington. Interment in Union Cemetery.
