DAVENPORT - Funeral services for Lula P. Stolley, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be offered at 4 p.m. Lula died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Davenport Good Samaritan Center. She was born Feb. 17, 1908, in Ottawa County, Okla., the daughter of William M. King and Esther A. (Craig) King. Lula Pearl King married Otto F. Stolley on Oct. 15, 1932, in Davenport. He preceded her in death Nov. 30, 1992. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in October that year. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Her hobbies included crocheting, reading and gardening. Lula was a loving mother and grandmother and a great cook. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan or St. Alphonsus Church. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Mary (Bill) Wilson, Linda (Roger) Warren, Patricia O'Brien, Jacqueline Stolley and Christine McMahon, all of Davenport, and Deborah (Dave) McClanahan, Wichita, Kan.; sons, John (Sandra) Stolley, Mansfield, Texas, Gary (Barbara) Stolley, Coal Valley, Ill., and Edward (Barbara) Stolley, Bettendorf; daughter-in-law, Judy Arnold, Davenport; 33 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Muriel Arnold, in 1971; sons-in-law, Darrell Arnold, Michael O'Brien and Jerry McMahon; a grandson, Michael Arnold; and three brothers and two sisters. May they rest in peace.
