She was the wife of the late Frederick Bason and a daughter of the late Edward and Pauline (Edmonson) Bowley. She had lived in Tewksbury, MA, until moving to Milford NH in 1995, and most recently, Cope, S.C.
She was retired from the American Mutual Insurance Company, where she had worked as a clerk typist.
She is survived by a daughter, Genevieve, a son, Ronald, a sister, Caroline Zinnoni; a brother, John Bowley. She had three grandsons and eight great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Janeal Bason; and a sister of the late Marie Johnson, Elizabeth Smith, Betty Pallazola, Edward Bowley Jr., Anastasia Poor, Mary Small, and Josephine Rideout.
