LEE OTT ALLISON SERVICES SATURDAY
Funeral service for Lee Otto Allison were held at the Methodist Church in Rosalie Saturday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. P. D. Cox officiating. Burial was made in Lyons cemetery.
Lee Otto Allison, son of Martin and Mahala Allison was born February 4, 1872, in Richardson county, Nebraska, and passed away in Rosalie at the age of 78 years, three months and six days.
As a young man he moved with his parents to Hayes county. On September 22, 1897, he was united in marriage to Mary L. Bailey of Palisade who preceded him in death just four months and one week.
After their marriage in 1897 they resided on a farm near Randolph, Nebraska before returning to Hayes county. A few years later they came to a farm near Rosalie where they lived until moving to Rosalie. They have lived in this community for the past 41 years.
Mr. Allison was the father of three children, a son Fred Allison of Blair; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Schneider of Rosalie; and a daughter, Ellen, who passed away several years ago. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Ella Snider of Denver, Colorado; a brother, Ira Allison; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
