Mrs. Fred C Rasmussen of Oral, South Dakota, who died Monday August 19, 1946, was born in Ames, Iowa 21 July 1896. She was born to Bethel May Wilder to Truman G. (T. G.) and Ella May Wilder. In 1910, the family moved to South Dakota, where she grew to womanhood. On June 25, 1913, she married Fred C. Rasmussen, and they made their home at Oral, South Dakota. To this union was born sixteen children: nine boys and seven girls: Viola Donnafield of Rapid City; Fred Rasmussen of Hot Springs; Harry Rasmussen of Oral; Ella Graves of Oral; Fern Merwin of Oral; Charles Rasmussen of Hot Springs; Alice Lake of Oral; Dorothy Morgan of Oelrichs.

Those at home are: Frank; Mary Jane; Sarah; David; John; Edward; Robert and Garry.

She is also survived by two sisters: Hazel Mingus of Montrose, Colorado and Fern Hambek of Gregory, South Dakota; one brother, Harry Wilder of Sheridan, Oregon and ten grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilder was a member of the Tulip Rebekah Lodge for a number of years. She was a loving wife and mother and all her ambitions and thoughts were for her family. She had many friends and was loved by all.

Services will be held at the church in Oral and burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery.
