Norman Kent Bassett, age 62, passed away Jan. 7, 1990, at his home. Born December 23, 1927, in Salt Lake City, to Jesse and Jessie Done Bassett. Married Nancy Campbell April 22, 1971, in Murray, Utah.

Pre-need funeral insurance salesman.
Graduate of East HIgh School. Attended BYU.

Survived by: Wife, Nancy; son, John E., Salt Lake City; daughters, Mrs. Mike (Jessica) Kelley, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Tony (Jennifer) Rydalch, Spokane, Wash.; five grandchildren; brothers, Keith, Salt Lake City; Arland R., Huntington Beach, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Frank (Colleen) Mark and Mrs. Alexander (Sharon) Nytch, both Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan 11, 12 noon, in the Appleton Ward, 2835 So. 2855 West. Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 So. 200 East, Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at the ward Thursday, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m., prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
