Jack Lee Partridge was the son of Sydney Lee Partridge and Hazel Earnestine Ruick. He married Alma Daphine May on July 28, 1938 in Newton, Kansas. They had five children. Their first child, Norman Wayne Partridge, was killed in Vietnam.

Jack's ashes are interred above the grave of his son, Norman.
